Raymond (Ray) Hill and his wife of 66 years (Mary) has three children, one daughter and two sons. Before coming to Seaside FM as a broadcaster on June 4, 2007, spent 13 years as a broadcaster with N.W.B.C. radio, serving the last four years as President and Manager of that station. Working both stations for two years became hectic, so Ray resigned from N.W.B.C. in September, 2009.Prior to getting involved in Radio, Ray worked on an ad hoc basis for six years as camera person and audio technician/operator with Access Cablevision in Dartmouth N.S

Ray is also well known in the music industry singing many years in bars, lounges, dancehalls, and private functions. He also has two CD’s to his credit. Ray also wears a kilt and played with well-known Highland Pipe Bands: The Black Watch Highlanders and the Wylde Thyme. He also served eighteen years with the Halifax Regional Police Service, and six years with the R.C.M.P. “H” Division. He completed 25 years participating with the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo as a bandsman. Ray retired in 1993 as Atlantic Regional Director, following 30 plus years in the Industrial Relations field.
