Gordon Heffler hosts the “Look For A Star” program weekly on Sunday evenings from 6-7pm, rebroadcasted Tuesday evenings from 8-10pm. Look For A Star spotlights music from a particular year, genre or artist, with a focus on the 1960’s. Gordon produces the program in his home studio pictured here and supplies much of the music for the show from his vast personal music library. He also serves as the station’s engineer, keeping the transmitter and studios running smoothly while carrying out maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as necessary to keep Seaside FM sounding good on the air! Born in Halifax, Gordon has had a passion for radio since age 9. He has been with Seaside FM as both host and engineer since day one, in 2001.
