John Langer was born in Brooks, Alberta, living in London, Ontario and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

John has spent a bit of time at Seaside FM throughout the years, doing co-op and internships with the late great Wayne Harrett. After completing the two year Radio/Television/Journalism course at NSCC, John joined full-time as the Public Relations Coordinator at 105.9 Seaside FM midway through August of 2023. 

In July 2024, John took on Production and Scheduling roles at 105.9 Seaside FM.

In October of 2024, “Late Nights with John Langer” began airing 10:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday to Friday.
