Snow continues.

Locations: Central Nova Scotia.

Additional snowfall: 15 to 25 cm.

Time span: continuing until Monday.

Remarks: Snow will taper to scattered flurries on Monday. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Travel is not recommended.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

BLOWING SNOW ADVISORY: 11:10 AM AST Sunday 4 February 2024

Poor visibility locally near zero in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring.

Maximum wind gusts: 70 to 80 km/h.

Locations: central and parts of western Nova Scotia.

Time span: continuing until Monday morning.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
