Jim is one of the original members of Seaside FM, joining in January of 2000, with his first broadcast in July of that year to support the Eastern Passage/Cow Bay Summer Carnival. Since then, he’s settled in as the host of “A Seaside Friday Night,” heard from 7 to 10 pm on Friday evenings. Jim’s show is a mix of lite favourites from the 60s, 70s, 80s and more and is a great way to ease on into the weekend! He encourages listener requests and maybe plays a little too much Elvis. In early 2023 Jim added a second show to his Friday night slot called “60s at 6,” where you can enjoy a rock n’ roll romp through the 1960s on Fridays from 6 to 7 pm.

Jim also took up the challenge of managing the sales team in 2002. In July of 2020, he became manager of the popular Seaside FM online 50/50 fundraising program. Jim lives in Dartmouth with his partner, Ann, and their very cute and cuddly golden doodle, Otis.
