Launch of the SS Titanic – Friends of the Halifax Public Gardens

The Friends of the Halifax Public Gardens will be hosting a celebration in the gardens on June 22 at 3 pm. As a part of this celebration the Maritime Modeler’s Guild will be launching a brand new scale model of the SS Titanic in the duck pond!

Funnily enough, the old model aged out and sank several years ago. Once recovered, it was determined that it was unrepairable.
As a result, members of the Guild donated their time and talents to build a new model of the ship.
“Be there or be square” this Saturday for the launch festivities!
