Thank you for understanding!\nThe Annual 105.9 Seaside FM BBQ & Book Sale is BACK after a long hiatus!!\nThis year\, we're gearing back up to sell bargain books\, rowdy records\, classic CDs and more! We'll also be BBQing up some tasty hotdogs and hamburgers with a selection of refreshments available as well!\nAt the sale you can expect to find rare records such as Anne Murrays debut "What About Me"\, or Gordon Lightfoot's "Lightfoot!". Our collection of books range from the action packed rollercoaster Jason Bourne series all the way to cookbooks on how to make the perfect creme brûlée. At the CD table\, expect to find all of your favourite names like Johnny Cash\, Elvis Presley\, ABBA\, Grease\, and much\, much more.\nWe are set for Saturday\, June 22nd\, 2024 from 10:00AM - 3:00PM!\nTaking place at the Broadcast House\, 1540 Shore Road\, Eastern Passage\, Nova Scotia.\nDrop by anytime between 10:00am - 3:00pm to pad your LP collection\, unearth some long lost memories\, meet your favourite Broadcasters and enjoy a gorgeous day! This fundraiser is for 105.9 Seaside FM and funds will go towards our expenses and upkeep. We hope to see you there!\nWe're also accepting donations of books\, CDs and records for this fundraiser. SUMMARY:Launch of the SS Titanic -  Friends of the Halifax Public Gardens
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Halifax Public Gardens will be hosting a celebration in the gardens on June 22 at 3 pm. As a part of this celebration the Maritime Modeler's Guild will be launching a brand new scale model of the SS Titanic in the duck pond!\n\nFunnily enough\, the old model aged out and sank several years ago. Once recovered\, it was determined that it was unrepairable.\nAs a result\, members of the Guild donated their time and talents to build a new model of the ship.\n"Be there or be square" this Saturday for the launch festivities!
